ABOUT THE LARAMIE ROBOTICS CLUB
Come have fun playing with robots! It's free. Any students middle school through graduate school interested in learning how to program robots should join the fun.
Each week we'll teach you how to get a robot to accomplish some goal, such as solving a maze, playing robot tag, following a light, etc. The goal is to simply have fun and learn robotics and programming along the way. Students do not need any technical background. We provide the robots, computers, and will teach you what you need to know. All we ask is that you are excited to learn and can attend most weeks.
Meetings will be every week in room EN4045 in the Engineering Building on the University of Wyoming Campus. Parents can come too and observe or help out. The club is led by UW Computer Science professors Jeff Clune and Ruben Gamboa, Ph.D. student Roby Velez, Laramie software engineer Jeffry Herndon, and members of the UW Evolving Artificial Intelligence Lab.
